Bandolier - Electronic version of Bandolier, an independent journal about evidence-based healthcare

Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine - The Centre has been established in Oxford as the first of several centres around the country whose broad aim is to promote evidence-based health care and provide support and resources to anyone who wants to make use of them.

Cochrane Library - An electronic publication designed to supply high quality evidence to inform people providing and receiving care, and those responsible for research, teaching, funding and administration at all levels.

Effectiveness Matters - This site provides updates on the effectiveness of important health interventions for practitioners and decision makers in the NHS, summarising the results of high-quality systematic reviews.

Health Evidence Bulletins - Wales - This site signposts to the best evidence across a broad range of evidence types and subject areas. Where information from randomised controlled trials is available it is included.

National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) - An independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance on the promotion of good health and the prevention and treatment of ill health. On 1 April 2005 NICE joined with the Health Development Agency to become the new National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (also to be known as NICE).

NHS Health Technology Assessment Programme - The HTA programme works to provide all those who make decisions in the NHS with high-quality information on the costs, effectiveness and broader impact of health care treatments and tests.

PRODIGY Knowledge is an up-to-date source of clinical knowledge that can help healthcare professionals and patients in managing the common conditions generally seen in primary and first-contact care.
