This is the second edition of the Department of Health publication 'Extending Independent Nurse Prescribing within the NHS in England : a guide for implementation', published February 2004.

Mechanisms of nurse and pharmacist prescribing and supply of medicines
This document, published January 2003 by the Department of Health, provides information about different types of nurse and pharmacist prescribing.
