Library Login Information Sheet
Network Logins will be needed to access all Library computers
from Thursday 30 March 2006, the same Network Login used in the rest of
the Trust and in other local NHS locations.
Do you know your Network Login username and password?
If you work for the NHS in North Hampshire and don't have a login, you
will need to register for one. Your Manager, or Human Resources, can apply
for one for you by using the online forms on MS Outlook, or by contacting
the IT Helpdesk.
Who is eligible?
All staff of the following Trusts based locally are eligible for a Network
Login:
Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust
Hampshire Primary Care Trust
Hampshire Partnership Trust
If in doubt, please contact the IT Helpdesk on x3500.
What if I'm not eligible?
If you are a Library User who is not eligible for a Network login, the
Library will issue you with a personal login for use on the Library computers
only. Just ask a member of Library staff.
What will be different?
Access your network drives (eg H drive) and save work here. NB The C drive
(hard disk) will now be automatically cleared at least once a day, so
be sure not to save work here
CD-ROMS will run on all machines
New software available - MS Publisher, ECDL, Flash Player
A scanner will be available in the main IT room
The intranet (NHHT and NHPCT) will be available to valid users
