Anatomy CDs

* Hand * Pelvis & Perineum * Head & Neck * Shoulder * Hip * Spine
* Foot & Ankle * Thorax & Abdomen * Knee
"These are a great set of CD ROMs that are now available in the library.
They are divided into anatomical areas and allow you to show anatomical
features in layers. Each anatomical area can show bone, ligaments, muscles,
nerves and blood supply and relationship between these structures. The
programme allows you to slowly dissect or build up the layer of overlying
structures to give you a greater understanding of the orientation of tissues
without the use of a cadaver and scalpel!! They are fantastic for case
presentation, teaching tools and patient education, and can be used from
student to Consultant level alike."
Elaine Alderton, Joint Physiotherapy Manager, BNHFT
