Book catalogues can be found by following the SWIMS or Other Catalogues links. Items located in the Healthcare Library can be found on SWIMS which is the South West Information Management System and they have the location code H18. Items from other libraries held on SWIMS we can order for you as an inter-library loan. We can also obtain material from the Health Libraries Network catalogues on inter-library loan.

An Athens username and password is required to access the ebooks and most of the databases and electronic journals. This username and password can be obtained by following the Athens Registration link and completing the self registration form. If you have forgotten the password, it can be reset by following this link and then choosing the NHS South West SHA Athens Helpdesk.

The ebooks are mainly on mental health but other subject areas are continually being added.

Journal article references can be retrieved by searching one of the databases, which can be found by following this databases link. The Clinical Databases link provides access to Medline, Cinahl, BNI Plus, Allied & Complimentary Medicine, DH-Data, PsycInfo, Embase and Kings Fund databases.

Full text online journals can be found by following the Journals link which is an A to Z listing of over 3000 full text electronic journals.
